Guided trips led by the experienced mountain bikers/guides of Superior North Outdoor Center. The center pioneered and developed many of the area's popular biking routes. Includes lodging, meals and shuttles.
The riding consists of gravel roads and forest trails. Most of our routes take us to the top of the ridge providing spectacular views of Lake Superior. Passing inland lakes, crossing steams and riding through many forest environments we finish each afternoon by arriving at the evening's lodging on the shore of Lake Superior. Most days' rides start with a climb to get over the ridge, your reward comes at the end of the day when we descend back down.
Or another possibility is starting high up on the historic Gunflint Trail. You will enjoy passing through tall timbers, dipping into lakes, and challenging trails all while subtlely riding downhill to reach the shores of Lake Superior. We end with a day on the Pincushion Mountain trail system and a thrilling descent into Grand Marais. Guided tours ending Sunday have an optional 14 mile ride to brunch at historic Naniboujou Lodge before your departure. Brunch cost not included.

Day tours are designed for beginner to advanced level riders and can be easy to moderate in difficulty, depending upon the group. Tours can be scheduled any time.
